Review Process

All manuscript submissions are received through the online conference management system (https://seasexpress.com/index.php/index/login). Authors are required to follow the prescribed author guidelines, including formatting, structure, and submission protocols. Submissions are initially screened by the editorial team to ensure compliance with the conference scope, formatting standards, and ethical policies. Manuscripts not adhering to the guidelines may be returned for correction or rejected at this stage.

Each eligible submission is subjected to a double-blind peer review process. Every manuscript is assigned to three independent expert reviewers from the reviewer pool available on the portal, based on their domain expertise. Reviewers evaluate the manuscript on criteria such as originality, technical quality, relevance to the conference theme, methodological rigor, clarity of presentation, and contribution to knowledge.

Reviewers provide detailed comments and recommendations (accept, minor revision, major revision, or reject). These comments are communicated to the authors through the system. Authors are required to carefully address all reviewer comments and submit a revised manuscript along with a detailed response to reviewers within the stipulated timeframe. The revised submission may undergo further review if necessary. Based on the reviewers’ feedback and the quality of revisions, the final decision is taken by the Programme Committee and General Chairs.

All accepted papers must comply with the publication ethics policy, including plagiarism and AI usage limits (similarity index < 10% and AI-generated content < 10%). Upon acceptance, authors are required to submit the camera-ready paper (maximum 6 pages including references) along with a duly signed Copyright Transfer Form. The conference ensures transparency, fairness, and quality through this structured peer review mechanism, leading to high-quality and impactful publications.

REVIEWING POLICY: Peer review is an essential component of formal scholarly communication. The Peer reviewer will assist the editor in making editorial decisions and through the editorial communications with the author, may also assist the author in improving the paper. Authors who wish to contribute to publications should comply with a fair process of reviewing.
